Hebrews verse by verse (Page 2)

The book of Hebrews is special among the NT epistles, because it was written to the people of Israel, rather than a Gentile church. In it, Paul provides those with a religious background a full knowledge of the nature and implications of Christ. And his admonition was not only very important to the first-century Hebrews, and informing for us today, but also contains portents of the future—prophetic implications for God’s work with Israel in the last days.
