Clarification: when Jesus tells the woman at the well to call her husband, he is not saying that her husband needs to come in order for her to be saved, obviously. He is just suggesting that if she wants her proper relationship with God restored, then ideally she would also desire the entire hierarchy ordained by God to be put into its proper place. That is, that her husband would also come under the headship of Christ, as she also must be under the headship of her husband.
